Is the Pope Catholic, or is he the False Prophet? Seems like an odd question, but one that needs to be asked and answered.

A mass migration of Muslim refugees are invading Western Europe, and unlike previous invasions, Europe is supplying the transports. With the European birthrates falling below sustainable levels, some are predicting that Spain, France, Germany and England will become Islamic Republics before the year 2050. The math is easy. The Muslim birthrate is over 8 children per family, while the average European rate is less than 2. 90 % of recent European population growth is due to immigration. A culture cannot survive those numbers.

As if that was not bad enough, Russians are moving supplies, men and material into Syria. Iran says Israel will be no more in less than 25 years and the Oslo Accords could be back on the front and center of the world stage. In Daniel, Chapter 9, the Antichrist will confirm a "...covenant with the many." What if this is the ONE to which Daniel refers ?

We have now reached the top of the lift...and we pause to look over the precipice before losing our lunch on the first drop. Hold on...here we go!!!

Each week, John Haller brings us important developments on the prophetic front and this week is no exception. From a bad Iranian Nuke Deal, to the massive immigration that is occurring with people moving "to and fro" (Daniel 12:4, perhaps?) to an out of control judicial system that has crossed the line and is now jailing folks for following their moral and spiritual conscience, the convergence of events continues to race toward the end of all things.

When we understand that the dominant religion in the US is now "Leftism", we can better prepare ourselves for what is coming. A public official now sits in jail, without bail, simply due to her faith? Think about that for a moment...this is still America, right?

Pastor Steve Mitchell and Pastor Mike Clapham continue their second hour Bible study with an in-depth message on what it is to be "born again".  Repentance of sin is an ongoing process.  While we are justified by faith alone,  the process of sanctification is one filled with episodes where we fall short in our Christian walk.  We then turn back to God, admit our failures, repent of our shortcomings and then we strive to be more like Him each day.  

It is this process through which we become more like Christ each day, instead of being the believer who is not actively working their faith. Through repentance, we become stronger in our belief and in our witness to a lost and dying world.

Pastor Steve Mitchell and Pastor Mike Clapham continue their "Power to Stand"Teaching Series  with a discussion focusing on 1 Cor 15, and the concept of Power and Love as two inseparable parts of God's willingness and His ability to save us.   Love was represented in the crucifixion...and power in the resurrection.

Realizing a vision that has been 6 months in the making, we are introducing a brand new teaching series from Fellowship Bible Chapel.  "Power to Stand" is designed to inform and encourage folks how to live a Christian life in the Last Days.  

The class is team taught by Pastor Steve Mitchell and Pastor Mike Clapham of Fellowship Bible Chapel and is conducted in a classroom setting during the second hour of our morning worship services.  We hope that you'll grab a cup of coffee, pull up a chair, take out your notepad and join us on this journey.     

In this introductory lesson, Pastor Mike and Pastor Steve explore what it takes to live life with full anticipation of Christ's soon return but one that draws nearer and nearer to the heart of God with each passing day.  Several pertinent passages of Scripture will be discussed, with some concentration on the meaning of specific original Greek words being used.

As a compliment to last's week's message entitled "Stop Freakin' Out", John returns this week to warn us of the things to get ready to do.  Starting off by taking a trip back to November of 1929, John shows us quotes by financial experts of the day who were painting a picture of an improving economic outlook in the spring of 1930.  Clearly, they were wrong.  

Those same headlines are repeating themselves today, because we have failed to learn from history to recognize the signs that judgments are coming.  We must be prepared and we must stand firm.  That is the battle cry for the remnant church as we move toward that final place in history where mankind comes face to face with a Holy God who will judge.  

This message is to those who make up the true remnant church.  It is time to be bold and take a stand.

The Western US is on fire.  The Middle East is on alert.  The Chinese and US stock markets are tumbling. Syrian refuges are starving.  The Iranians are promising to monitor their own nukes while simultaneously producing YouTube videos of the Revolutionary Guard making preparation to destroy Israel. 

And the pundits?  They have no clue what is about to befall them and an unsuspecting world.   

As Christians, we can sometimes be sucked in and overwhelmed by the convergence of events that is propelling us to the point where Christ returns.  But as John reminds us in this week's Prophecy Update, we should "Stop Freakin' Out" and instead stay focused on the reminders from God's Word that assure us that He is still in control.

As is was in the Days of Noah - Meteorologists are predicting a devastating weather pattern that will impact the west coast in Godzilla proportions.

As it was in the Days of Lot - Uncouth men are using "Tinder" to hook up with as many as 150 women per year, dubbed "Tinderellas" to spread not only disease and unwanted pregnancies, but also broken hearts and lives.

As it is now - 60 years ago, buildings in New York were illuminated at Easter with the cross of Christ. Now, the Hindu goddess of destruction, Kali, is being portrayed in brilliant and colorful light. It's bad enough to ignore God, but to shake our fists at Him in defiance? Are we inviting disaster?

Finally, the pure evil known as ISIS (aka, the Junior Varsity Squad according to our President) has plans to create a global conflict by expanding their influence and terror into Northern Africa, and Europe, to as far away as Australia. They perceive the USA as weak and unable to strategically deter their advance. They may be right.

John brings us up to date on this and more, in a very sobering update entitled "More of the Same".

Has the administration set the stage for fulfillment of the end times scenario where Israel stands alone against the world?  Did John Kerry really say that "Death to America" does not really mean that Iran wants to destroy us?  Is Obama going to find his mythical climate change unicorn by mandating reduced carbon emissions from coal plants by executive fiat, inevitably driving up energy costs for everyday Americans?  Has this master manipulator set us on a collision course with fate, by undermining every foundational tenant upon which our Christian faith rests?

Are American political leaders playing right into the hands of a regime bent on destroying Israel and America?

Planned Parenthood medical directors are joking about “baby body parts menus.”  The US President, obsessed with race, but blind to Islamic Terrorism, is now doing an end run around Congress to ram through an Iranian Nuke Deal that will compromise the entire region.  Congress will not get the chance to vote on it before the United Nations considers it on Monday, July 20, 2015.  

Could this agreement force Benjamin Netanyahu's hand?  Will we wake up tomorrow morning to an onslaught of stories about the Israeli Strike on Iran? 

This is a 5-alarm update that should terrify the unbeliever and  excite those anticipating the soon return of Christ."

If your vertical alignment is slightly off-center, its time to get it right. We are approaching the point of the fulfillment of all things prophetic.

Wow...what a week for those whose eyes are opened and whose hearts are seeking the One who is coming to make all wrong things right.

Pastor Steve Mitchell makes  an unadulterated and positional statement in regards to the recent Supreme Court ruling approving same sex marriage and imposing it upon all states, and eventually on all those people of faith.  FBC is taking a stand.  Which master will you serve?  Will you serve  God, or man?

Pastor Steve continues his series on the Book of Hebrews, expounding on the faith of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the model of faith they have set as an example for us to follow.

Those who have the discernment of the Holy Spirit understand that the race to the end is gaining speed and momentum.  With recent polling indicating that support for homosexual marriage is  now over 60%, the basic underpinnings of our societal structure are being cut out from under us, to the detriment of all people.  

When things get to the point where "Caitlyn" Jenner is considered to be courageous for changing his physical body to cope with a mental problem, while true heroes like Lauren Hill (the young woman who lost her battle with cancer but lived her dream of playing college basketball) we have reached a tipping point in history from which there will be no recovery short of the direct intervention of our Creator.  

When wrong is now called right, and then celebrated by the unwashed masses, we have reached the point where the ability to discern may be lost forever.  The coming judgement of God is now likely the only thing that can bring a world full of people have collectively thumbed noses at Him, into full account for their iniquity.
